Call for Speakers

We are seeking engaging, knowledgeable speakers to present at our upcoming conference focused on offsite wood construction. This event will bring together architects, engineers, developers, manufacturers, contractors, and researchers to explore the rapidly evolving world of prefabricated and industrialized wood building systems.

Offsite construction is transforming the way we design and deliver projects with wood – improving efficiency, quality, sustainability, and project delivery. Our goal is to highlight real-world projects, technical innovations, lessons learned, and emerging trends that advance the use of offsite wood construction.

We welcome proposals from professionals across the design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction sectors.

Presentation Topics:

We are interested in a variety of topics, all of which at their core, will provide educational content to our audience and practical tools to implement on their wood construction projects. These include, but are not limited to:

Mass Timber

Panelized and Prefabricated Systems

  • Mass timber panels, and light-frame wall panels
  • Floor and roof cassette systems
  • Digital workflows for panelized construction

Modular Wood Construction

  • Structural design considerations for modular buildings
  • Shipping and installation challenges (Construction management)
  • Coordination between modular manufacturers and design teams
  • Case studies of modular wood projects

Project Delivery & Industry Adoption

  • Developer perspectives on offsite construction
  • General contractor case studies and lessons learned
  • Cost considerations and financial feasibility
  • Workforce and supply chain considerations
  • Policy, incentives, and market barriers
