Edelman Fossil Park & Museum

Be among the first visitors to tour a sprawling mass timber museum for a New Jersey fossil park!

Enjoy lunch in the museum theater while being treated to a presentation by the Museum director.

Then tour the 44,000 ft² hybrid mass timber facility which will be New Jersey’s largest public net zero building and part of the Living Building Challenge.

In addition to a beautiful application of exposted GLT and glulam, the museum incorporates features such as geothermal wells for ground-source heating and cooling systems and a photo voltaic solar field. 100% of the energy used by the museum will come from a combination of green energy available in New Jersey’s power grid and renewable energy produced on-site. No fossil fuels will be combusted for museum operations and no greenhouse gasses will be released in the atmosphere.

Hosted by VBC, a global leader in volumetric construction, enjoy a presentation, followed by a tour of Spring Gardens Apartments followed by other VBC buildings.

The Spring Garden Apartments project represents a capstone for the integrated team at VBC. This 5 over 2 modular multifamily housing structure was fully executed from concept to keys, utilizing VBC interior products throughout the entire construction.
