Marc Rivard

Director of Engineering, Sterling

Marc Rivard is a licensed Structural and Professional Engineer in the State of California, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire and is currently a Mass Timber Specialist with Sterling Structural where he provides technical project support, technical sales, and design assistance for cross laminated timber projects. From 2014-2023 he was the Regional Director for WoodWorks where he provided project assistance for light framed wood and mass timber projects, and provided Continuing Educational seminars for Engineers and Architects on various wood design topics. From 2000-2014 Marc practiced as a Senior Structural Engineer in California with experience primarily involving seismic structural design and analysis of new and existing structures for numerous building types.
